Based
in Tobermory, Isle of Mull off the west coast of Scotland.
Sarah developed her photography career alongside running a B&B
in Tobermory, Isle of Mull.
Her first photography commission came in 2012 when she was successful
in her application to
document the artist Emma Herman-Smith's Forest Partners project, using
photography and video.
This was the start regular commission work that continues to this
day, documenting projects,
events, artwork and performance. Throughout all this time she has
only ever been self-taught.
Over the years she has developed her own style, telling stories and
capturing moments of quiet
intimacy. She also experiments with a more abstract fine art approach
to creating work.
For Sarah a successful image is one that serves a purpose, tells a
story, asks a question, and/or
evokes emotion.
This website includes commissions, documenting events, art work and
performances, portrait work,
and commercial work. Please
